Num.21 [29] Woe to thee, Moab! thou art undone, O people of
Chemosh: he hath given his sons that escaped, and his daughters,
into captivity unto Sihon king of the Amorites. 1Sam.4 [7] And the
Philistines were afraid, for they said, God is come into the camp.
And they said, Woe unto us! for there hath not been such a thing
heretofore.
[8] Woe unto us! who shall deliver us out of the hand of these
mighty Gods? these are the Gods that smote the Egyptians with all
the plagues in the wilderness. Job.10 [15] If I be wicked, woe unto
me; and if I be righteous, yet will I not lift up my head. I am
full of confusion; therefore see thou mine affliction; Pss.120 [5]
Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of

shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal

his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth.
Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or
thy work, He hath no hands?
[10] Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest

Behold, he shall come up as clouds, and his chariots shall be as a
whirlwind: his horses are swifter than eagles. Woe unto us! for we

stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and
silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it. Zeph.2

Cherethites! the word of the LORD is against you; O Canaan, the

make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within
they are full of extortion and excess.
[27] Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are
like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward,
but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all
uncleanness.
[29] Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye
build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the
righteous, Matt.24 [19] And woe unto them that are with child, and
